2014 OLC Technical Services Retreat programs announced

Have you registered yet for the  2014 OLC Technical Services Retreat?  This event, to be held April 21-22 at the Northpointe Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio, has an amazing slate of programs of interest to all technical services staff and supervisors.  Full details and registration information can be found here.  This site has been repeatedly updated since the initial save-the-date announcement, and most recently the complete listing of programs has been added.  Catalogers will be delighted to see programs on applying the new RDA rules to audio and video recordings, as well as an informational session on the new Ohio NACO Funnel and programs on MarcEdit and OCLC’s RDA update.  Managers and supervisors will be interested in the programs on using statistics for decision-making, motivating staff, and project management.   And there is so much more — from weeding with the Awful Book Ladies to batch loading, and offering access to materials beyond the library’s stacks and web site — that all technical services staff will find something educational and practical.

You can see the line-up of programs here. (PDF file)

The programs are detailed in full here. (Web page, also linked from the above PDF)
